We've created a new global healthcare system model and were delighted to work with one of the UK's five largest healthcare organisations to apply it. How much do you invest in making the simple complicated instead of clear?
Through systems thinking I've been helping organisations address the issue that question raises since carrying out my first strategic review in 1991.
Fast forward to 2020, and I've started SUCCEED.LIMITED to combine clarity of thinking with the impetus from new decisions that it enables and purpose-made software that maintains your momentum towards your goal despite day-to-day distractions.
Sydney J Harris said "Happiness is a direction, not a place". If direction really is the key to happiness (organisational health), then it makes sense to give your team as much clarity about your direction as possible, and help them achieve.

Giving back
Everything I aspire to do in SUCCEED is enabled because of the learning opportunities I've had throughout my life. Therefore I choose to give part of the business profits to support educational initiatives for those less fortunate. The current beneficiary is Effective Aid International, an Australia-based charity which is dedicated to providing education to children in Northern Thailand and Myanmar.

Stephen Magowan
Founder
During my formative years in multi-national organisations, the process of finding solutions to problems convinced me that there was an unfilled need for a network of appropriately experienced and genuinely interested external support that leaders of all types and sizes of organisation could call on to help address complex strategic, tactical or operational challenges. As a result, Business Development Solutions Ltd was born in 2004.
The acceleration in the application of technology to every product and service and the potential created by entirely new products and services has made external support with relevant experience even more valuable in helping companies develop.
We've moved forward too, renaming as SUCCEED LIMITED to reflect our purpose. Through our network developed over the last decade, we are able to bring experienced, like-minded practitioners from many fields to assignments almost anywhere in the world to help you.
